The Three Branches of Government

In our government there are three branches: The legislative, judicial, and executive.

Legislative:

The legislative branch is a fancy name for congress. Congress is in charge of handling bills, ideas for laws. There are two divisions of congress: the senate and the house of representatives. We have two senators per every server we own. There is one representative per server we own. Representatives listen to the residents of his server to help the ordinary soldiers have an influence. The only server that doesn’t have any senators or representatives is Caribou because it is the capital.

How a Bill Becomes a Law:

A bill is an idea for a law. Any citizen can submit a bill. All you have to do is e-mail the bill to me at goliephil@gmail.com. Label the subject “bill”. When anyone sends me a bill, I will try to get it to congress as soon as possible. The senate will vote on it, and if the majority says yes, the house of representatives will vote on it. If they say yes, I will decide wether to make the bill a law, or not. If I say no, congress can vote on it again, and if each division of congress says yes by 2/3 vote, the bill will become a law anyway.

Executive:

The executive branch is comprised of the president and vice-president. Their job is to sign or veto bills, keep the site going, lead the USCP, and appoint judges.

Judicial:

The judicial branch is made up of judges. There is one judge per every server we own, plus the supreme court judge. Their job is to ultimately decide wether a person is guilty or not based on the jury’s decision.

The Three Parties

Our government is centered around three main parties. These parties have very different beliefs. Here is a brief description of what they believe.

Democrats:

• We should only go to war when it is absolutely necessary.
• Taxes should be established to improve this site.
• When an other nation that is neutrally associated with us is at war, it is not our problem to help them.
• If taxes are established, the people with more credits should be taxed more
• Believes government should be more involved

Republicans:

• If we have a good reason, we should go to war.
• Taxes will only make us lose citizens.
• If another nation is in trouble, it is our duty to help them.
• If a tax plan ever makes it into our government, everyone should be taxed evenly.
• Believes government should be less involved.

Independents:

Independents disagree with both the Democratic Party and the Republican Party. Each Indepndent canidate will most likely have different beliefs from another.

Conselation Party

The Conselationists are people who agree with some ideas with both parties, aka, the Democrat-Republicans.

• Should Only go to war when it is absolutely necessary.
• Taxes would only make us lose citiznes.
• We should help a closely allied nation if at war.
• If taxes are established, the amount should be based on the average earnings of that citizen.
• Believes in Strict Democracy unless decision based on the idea of the “wealth of the common people” is made.
• Works for the establishment of a Commonwealth-type nation.

Write In Parties:

If you want to be in a party not list, Just Write it in on your registration and you are that party. Any racial, sexist, or any prejudice type parties are not acceptable.(Exp. National Socialist[Nazi] )

Elections

The biggest part of a democracy is the elections. The president serves as president in four month terms, but he/she can run for re-election as many times as he/she wants. This system ensures that the people always get the president they want. There will be a post two weeks before the end of every term telling every one who wants to run to send me an e-mail. If a president quits mid-term, the vice president will finish his term. Senators have six month terms, and they can also run for re-election as many times as they want. Representatives have two month terms. Judges are appointed by the president after every election.
